All genres of Music remains a key influence in our designs from jazz to bluegrass, house and of course rock and roll.
We found out few interesting stories about music icons;
Rolling Stones
Rock ‘N Roll legend says members of the Hell’s Angels motorcycle gang were hired to be security at the Rolling Stones’ Free Concert in Altamont, held on December 6th, 1969.
Jimi Hendrix,got the idea for the song `purple haze` after having a dream he could walk under water. He also created “Little Wing” in only 145 seconds! that’s only two minutes and a half!
John Lennon caused alot of controversity by comparing The Beatles to baby J… “Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink…. I don’t know what will go first, rock ‘n’ roll or Christianity. We’re more popular than Jesus now. Jesus was all right, but his disciples were thick and ordinary. It’s them twisting it that ruins it for me.”
Elvis was born as a twin and he was also a very generous dude…. “Once he drove by a man who was repairing his fence (which was constantly broken by fans), on his shiny brand new truck. The man looked at him admiringly and said “I wish I could have a truck like yours! It is my dream”, to which Elvis replied “Do you have a buck?” “Yeah sure” the man gave him a buck. “Here. The truck is yours”.
Phil Spector forced the Ramones to play the same opening guitar chord over and over again for eight solid hours, mixing it into the song “Rock And Roll High School” until he was happy with it! The guys tried to leave but Phil pulled a gun out and forced them to stay.
